Alternative Dispute Resolution mechanisnis of resolving disputes have been embraced in many world regions in the past four decades more than any other time before .

ADR has become a subject without borders. In some regions, the adoption has been aimed at making the mechanisms alternatives to litigation which has over the years slowed down and has become increasingly expensive and out of touch with the realities of a fast, commercial and globalized world. Some nations aim at making it a
supplement to litigation.
