With a cinema-level 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut, ASUS OLED laptops offer exceptionally detailed and realistic visuals. This means that the colours reproduced on the display are richer and more vivid: ideal for projects that use intense colours, but will take any visual content to the next level.

ASUS OLED laptops maintain the 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut at both low and high brightness levels, while an average LCD laptop's colour gamut drops drastically at low brightness levels. At 16 Gs grey level brightness, LCD laptops can display only 11% DCI-P3 colour gamut, while ASUS OLED laptops maintain 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut.

We know that blue light causes visual discomfort and worsens the quality of sleep. At the same time, thanks to the special organic light-emitting materials of OLED displays, ASUS OLED laptops emit 70% less harmful blue light 3, and they also have TÜV Rheinland and SGS certificates. However, ASUS OLED laptops can display a detailed image even at low brightness settings, thanks to the high contrast and the ability to maintain a wide colour gamut even at low brightness. ASUS OLED laptops can reproduce colours correctly at any brightness setting, so you can freely adjust the brightness of the display to your work environment while enjoying vivid colours. For example, in a living room (which is usually lit at 100 lux), an OLED display only needs 177 nits of brightness to achieve the same clear picture as an LCD screen with 400 nits of brightness.

True Black: See the invisible

ASUS OLED laptops reproduce black colours perfectly. An OLED pixel consists of three subpixels, each of which generates its own light: a 4K (3840 x 2400) display consists of 9,216,000 pixels, which means it has 27,648,000 subpixels with its own light. In contrast, most LCD displays only have a few dozen LED backlights. When displaying black on an OLED display, the pixel simply turns off to create the darkest possible black. This allows for extremely clear and sharp images, even in the darkest scenes. You will be surprised how many new details you can discover in your favourite movies!

The fastest response time available on a laptop for smooth action

ASUS OLED displays have a response time of 0.2 milliseconds — the fastest on a laptop and 50 times faster than the average LCD laptop display. The response time of most LCD laptop displays is between 10 and 25 milliseconds. This allows for smoother fast-paced action scenes, low-latency gameplay, and fine detail, i.e. blur-free text scrolling.
