After completing her undergraduate studies, Monika Saliku anxiously waits to see what shape her career life would take. For her, it is a foregone conclusion that she would get an appointment to work in the city, where she would savour the familiar throb of city life. She gets a setback when she receives an appointment letter that sees her literally thrown into a bucolic outpost; and settling for a career that she loathes. As she grudgingly journeys to the small dusty town, little does she know that a bitter-sweet struggle towards self-realisation has just begun.
