A definite page turner and inspirational story

James Chilupepopoto is a young man in love with a beautiful young woman called Janny and contemplating a long-distance relationship after getting a scholarship to study in America while pursuing his football career. However, that is the least of his challenges since a few days before the due date, Janny disappears without a trace, together with other girls from Chania village. James embarks on a dangerous quest to search for clues about the mysterious disappearance. Whisper in the Jungle by Robert Mwangi tells the exhilarating story of a man inspired by love to do what it takes to uncover the mysteries of the jungle. LOVE ,DREAM & CULTURE?

This book! Flowy and Effortless writing style. Super and easy Read. A story of a young man grappling with Culture and excitement about his first Love and brighter future after being awarded a soccer scholarship to go to America. James_African lad is a proof of determination, strength, resilience, dreamer, never giving up and fighting for what you believe in(Janny). He tore my heart, made me tear up and experience so many different emotions just from his actions: sad, emotional and yet happy all rolled into one. This book did not leave me with answers. It triggered the question around “OUR CULTURE". How well do you know your culture? specifically from the perspective of someone trying to balance what they were born into, what they know/don't know and what they moved into. "Whisper in the Jungle" is a very enjoyable and engaging read If you are a Fiction lover, pick this up right now! It won't disappoint you. 5 Stars for me.

LOVE or DREAMS

5 Stars for me! Extremely invigorating! A fast & Easy Read I really enjoyed this book from the beginning to the end. The journey of an ambitious young boy, James, who risks his life for the future_Love and_Dreams. While reading the book I felt Anxiety & Fear . How the story/series of events developed across the chapters! at some point the plots got darker than expected. There were moments I had a perfect mixture of everything: funny, sad, witty, scary, saudade, pleased, wounded! All sorts of emotions! Isaac, James & Mzee Kazuu, stood out for me .The Braveness, resilient and determination. However, there are definitely deep questions around our CULTURE(African Culture) that rose across the chapters. How well do we understand/know our CULTURE? Favorite Excerpt: "Don't allow life's obstacles to bring you down. And when they do bring you down, and you find yourself lost, Crawl and Stand up. Don't ever stay down. Keep moving. Pg. 211. Overall, I liked this read. I raced to the end. Was desperately sad to have finished reading it. This is an incredible story that is absolutely well worth the read. Highly recommended.

Such an Intriguing read !

Whisper in the Jungle is an amazing tale filled with love, friendship, emotions, and bravery. This is the first book of Robert Mwangi that I am reading, and I could witness an incredible way of describing life and every element in the story. I got sucked in with all the detail, I felt like I was living there. Although it was set over 1000 of km away The story is set in African Jungle, and it revolved around the 2 main protagonists James and his love Janny. James gets selected for a soccer scholarship and had to leave to America immediately to continue his studies. While he felt his dreams coming true alive, the things start to meet its different ends which was totally unexpected. Janny gets suddenly vanished and this makes James to pass into mysterious forest and is compelled to risk his life and his dream in America for the sake his love. Deep in the jungle James get to experience many unexpected events and that makes him to realise these true potentials and makes him brave enough to pass through all the horrors inside. Robert has well captured the environment perfectly. The characters were strong and borh the make and female lead was very likeable. The story gripped me from the get-go. The tension and lust palpable. This book put me at the edge of my comfort zone and my seat. This book made me feel so many emotions and the relationships between the characters were mesmerising. Just like others I found the story to be a little slow at start but later I did not want the story to end. Whisper in the Jungle is really very intersting story full of actions and emotions and I bet you will definitely feel good to pick this up form the shelf. I would honestly rate this book with 5 out of 5 stars.
