Daisy Jones & the Six
Everybody knows Daisy Jones and the Six.
Their sound defined an era. Their albums were on every turntable. They sold out arenas from coast to coast.
Then, on 12 July 1979, Daisy Jones walked barefoot on to the stage at Chicago Stadium. And it all came crashing down.
Everyone was there. Everyone remembers it differently. Nobody knew why they split. Until now...

Daisy Jones & The Six
Daisy Jones & The Six is such an intoxicating book. For Starters it is written in an interview format which i thought would be a bit hard to get into but two pages in and i was up and away! In a nutshell, this book is about a rock and roll band in L.A in the 1970's that shot to stardom then fell apart literally in one night. The story is great, the writing is amazing but the issues that the writer explores is what made me love this book. Full review on my Instagram page @reviewsbyfrankie
