Juliane in trouble
“What is all this noise about?”
She asked. The boys looked at each other and chorused, “Nothing mum.”
“No you got to tell me what you boys are yelling over,’ their mother insisted.
“Rex started it all,” Juliane said.
“No, he started it.” Rex countered.
“No! No! No! Boys, stop shouting and tell me who started what.” Lucia said raising both her hands up in the air. Juliane told his mum that Rex refused to spread the bed when it was clearly his turn.
“Mum, it is because Juliane did not take a shower before going to bed.” Rex complained.
“You are lying.” Juliane shouted.
“I saw you wipe them in the dew this morning to hide the dust. Mum, look at his ankles and you will notice the dust,’ Rex screamed. Juliane’s ankles were so dirty.
Juliane in Trouble is a story written in simple language suitable for class 5 pupils. It is also well illustrated and the learners will find it very interesting.
