The second edition is based on the revised Indian Nursing Council syllabus for BSc nursing students, which deals with social problems and effect of population explosion and family planning, which was earlier not covered in the first edition. This textbook is comprehensive, will help to widen the knowledge of the students and nursing teachers also very useful for MA students. The main intention of writing this book is to ease the problem of students in finding references and preparing lesson plans.
