Insightful read!

This here is a gem, such a beautiful book. Her way of portraying the different perspectives in the story is so beautifully layered, one can't put it down. It's continuous, it makes sense, it builds and then comes together. Showing the true meaning of 'The Havoc of Choice'. She tells of such a painful time in Kenya in the most descriptive, eye-opening way. I must admit that I lived through it, but while reading the novel, I felt like a foreigner. The novel brings to life the circumstance, the people and highlights a variety of issues, some still being faced in Kenya. More than that, she writes with such insight and depth, just having a way with words and characters. As if she lived through each of them. I would recommend it over and over again. I just wish there was more!

Havoc of Choice

This book won't let you put it down. Very well written. Shoud be reccomended reading tbh. I hope to see it o the Set Books list for secondary schools in the future. It reminds us of a time in Kenya's past thatwe have chosen to forget but should not.
