The Journey is an interesting story about pupils who go on a school trip to a park. In the park they see and talk about different types of animals, birds, insects and vegetation. In the process they learn a lot about the things they see. They also apply the Lessons learnt during their discussions to their everyday life. The discussions are aimed at helping pupils learn and practice listening and speaking skills which are important in the learning of the English language. This will help them improve in their performance, both in the English language and other subjects like Science and Life Skills. 

At the end of this interesting story there are questions to help the pupils recall what they have learnt. The pupils are also encouraged to use their dictionaries to find the meanings of the key words introduced in the story.
