As soon as she completed her primary education, Naneu is secretly married off to an old man the age of her father. The fourteen-year old has her eyes on greater goals and is determined to work out a plan to fight for her freedom. She also has to contend with the temptation of the lavish lifestyle provided by her very generous and rich husband.
